One day an elephant saw a hummingbird lying on its back with its tiny feet up in the air. "What are you doing?" asked the elephant. The hummingbird replied, "I heard that the sky might fall today, and so I am ready to help hold it up, should it fall." The elephant laughed cruelly. Volunteer Update
We had the opportunity to participate in a wonderful communication training done by Gayle Mayekawa. We got a lot of good feedback from the attendees. All the topics covered by Gayle were found useful and volunteers are inspired to apply the skills they learn in their volunteer work. The topics were very helpful for personal growth in learning how to work with people and communicate more efficiently. We want to thank, Gayle for her time and for providing an informatively rewarding training.
