Community Partnerships

Our Family Resource Centers and programming are not only made possible by the CHAC staff and volunteers who bring it to life, but also by our community partners who supplement or enhance our services!  We are just as dedicated in our work with these partners as we are in providing rich experiences to the children and families who attend our classes and events.  We are really grateful for being a part of this amazing network!

  • Assisted families in online Kindergarten Registration in collaboration with Mountain View Whisman School District.
  • Hosted specialists from Parents Helping Parents to answer developmental questions from families.
  • Offered parenting classes and Arts Enrichment to mothers in West Valley Community Service's Transitional Housing program in Cupertino.
  • Provided Ages and Stages Questionnaires to 80 families in the Stretch to Kindergarten program in Mountain View, identified a number of potential developmental red flags in some of the children, and assisted them in connecting with specialized assessments through Kid Connections.
  • Hosted dentists from Sunnyvale's Children's Dental Center to provide free screenings for children at our annual Dental Wellness Day.
