Art Enrichment - Play & Learn Class Expectations
Parenting Class Expectations

Our Classes

  • Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors is the nation's first evidence-based parent leadership training program for Latino parents with children ages 0-5. It gives families information on a variety of traditional parenting topics, like discipline and communication, along with things like nutrition, cultural values, getting involved in your child's education, and parent advocacy.
  • Arts Enrichment is a 10-week parent/child participation class that models a similar class schedule to Kindergarten. Here, children learn how to transition from one activity to the next, how to participate in circle time, and of course plenty of time for free play, songs, movement, stories and art. A majority of our classes are led by trained volunteers. This class is an introductory class for new families only.
  • Play and Learn is the same content and format as Arts Enrichment, but it is for continuing families so that the children may continue to get exposure to critical school readiness skills. Classes regularly available in English and Spanish.
  • SEEDS of Early Literacy stands for Sensitive, Encourage, Educate, Develop through Doing, and Self-Image). It's a program that teaches parents how to expand a child's vocabulary and build a lifetime love of reading. 5 Sessions.
  • Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) backed by over 30 years of clinically proven, world wide research, gives parents critical information on helping their children build resiliency and confidence. Three sessions. Please see www.triplep.net for more information.
