Greetings Families, Partners, and LTI Community
Welcome to Fall and the
start of the brand new school year. If your children are younger, you might not
yet be in the rhythm of the school cycle, but families with preschoolers and
kindergarteners will be shifting to this new routine. Check out two videos from
our friends at Kids in the House on bedtime routines and making school drop
offs easier.
Here is news from across the region
Many thanks to the Mountain View Lions Club for their
generous donation of 100 backpacks for families this year. See what Mountain
View Patch said and hear Program Director, Maddi Pascua, talk about our
program. We are very proud!
Vargas FRC Opening
a Success!

Families from Escuela’s Wednesday morning class took a
group field trip to San Francisco to see the Exploratorium, courtesy of friends
from our hosts at the Los Altos United Methodist Church. Together, they organized taking the train and
spending the day in the city. The children
loved the adventure and we were happy to see them have a chance to explore the
museum!
